Radical Future Pasts
Untimely Political Theory
Led by editors Romand Coles, Mark Reinhardt, and George Shulman, and inspired by the work of Peter Euben, the contributors both explore and exemplify the range and importance of political theory's different genres while concentrating on such themes as time and temporality, the politics of tragedy, and political movements and subjectivities. A groundbreaking volume featuring the best new scholarship in the field, this provocative book will be useful to scholars and students interested in political theory and its relationship to political practice.

Reviews
"An exciting collection that is bound to make an important impact on the field. Radical Future Pasts has a tremendous amount to offer readers as a set of interrelated reflections on varied aesthetic, temporal, affective and cultural coordinates for practices of political theory."—Paul Apostolidis, Whitman College, author of Breaks in the Chain: What Immigrant Workers Can Teach America about Democracy
"The edited volume Radical Future Pasts is an intellectually challenging and stimulating book. It provides the reader with an overview of significant debates within US discourses in political theory from a mainstream left perspective. The volume is a splendid introduction to contemporary and long lasting issues in political theory, particularly in the United States. The editors have done a splendid job in compiling a wide range of highly stimulating contributions to a unique volume."—SCTIW Review
