This publication, accompanying a major retrospective of the works of father and son at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, offers an overview survey of the art and history of these two important figures. This is the first retrospective exhibition of this magnitude devoted to the rich and complex works of these two Louisiana artists.
About the Author
David Houston is a curator and art historian specializing in southern art. He was the co-director at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art until 2010, and currently serves as the Executive Director at the Bo Bartlett Center at Columbus State University. He helped to open the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Arkansas in 2011.
